  M.I has been announced as the co-host of the Hip-Hop World Awards 2012. The rapper will host the award ceremony with West Africa Idol runner-up, Omawumi.

The Hip-Hop World Awards, also known as the Headies, will take place on 20 October at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos.

M.I has won nine Hip-Hop World Awards since 2008.
